Greatest Highschool Accomplishment

My Greatest Accomplishment in high school is achieving a 2.67 GPA or higher for two or more quarters. I say that it is my greatest high school accomplishment because I have worked really hard in all of my classes. I really want to go to a four year University, and I need to start doing better if the is what I really want. If not I will go to a two year community college and transfer to a four year. I feel that education is important because out of everything no one in the world can take education away from a person. I really want to get a good job and b able to support my self and when I get ready my family. I don’t want to be like my parents who have to work two jobs to be able to pay the rent and stuff. I feel that this is my accomplishment because it is a push towards my future. It is getting me closer to breaking the cycle. Now all I have to do is wait till I am done with college and get married before I get pregnant and then I will really break the cycle.

End of Year Reflection – Greatest High School Obstacle

My greatest obstacle over the past two years have mainly been my grades. I say that because I have always had a hard time with keeping a 3.0 gpa, I can easily get a 2.67 but for me it was hard. I think that the class that I have the most problems in is Spanish and I say that because, ever since freshman year I have been having a problem. I don’t understand it and it frustrates me, but I try. Like now has of the moment I have so much Spanish work that I need to do and it so hard I hear it and I know a little bit but I just can’t comprehend it.

No I don’t think that it is odd because I don’t personally think that it matters on what ethnicity the person is what he or she said or wrote is the important part, I mean any one can say something it could have been a Asian or Black guy or girl. It is the importance of the message that they were trying to get out that matters. And it must have been important to the people who put them there. We are a very diverse campus and we have a lot of different people who some from different backgrounds, so I think that it is not odd because of the way this campus is.

Third Quarter Awards Review

On Friday around 11:30 at San Pasqual Academy, all the kids at San Pasqual went to an Awards Assembly in the auditorium, the awards assembly was for, academic, citizenship, and a ton of other things. A part of the assembly that I remember was when I was called up for my award for having between a 3.0 to a 3.4, I was really excited and it made me happy. Another time in the assembly that I was really happy in was when Ms. Davis, gave me an award for most improved student of the quarter. At one pert in the assembly I was upset because I try really hard and I felt unappreciated and it made me want to cry. Also another part I remember is when this kid got an award form the friends of San Pasqual, it surprised me because I honestly didn’t feel that he deserved it and I didn’t think that he has been here long enough to even really know that friends of San Pasqual, I mean has he even been here for a year yet? Over all I liked the awards assembly and I think that the next one will just continue to get even better.

“Animal Farm” Revolution at SPA

If the students of SPA had a revolution and took over the campus it would be a complete disaster. If the students did take over SPA I would imagine this is how it would be. The students will be free to do what ever they wanted. If the students were to have a revolution the laws would be very lax. This is how it would be all of the students will gang together and go against the staff. But the kids were really creative. They will all talk and come together and plan on a day a Saturday, at 4pm they will all forward a text message to all the other students telling them to run to the auditorium but not every one just have one person stay back. And if every kid ran out the house they wouldn’t know what do. When the staff all start calling and chasing after the kids the one that was left in the house will take the door and lock it, then go and disable the alarm so that they can lock out the staff but let other kids in. The students will run to the auditorium nailing the windows shut and lock the staff in there. So they are free to do what ever they want with out having to worry about staff. And this will they will it will be until the staff get smart and learn how to break out, or until they call the police.

San Pasqual Academy Dragons Symbolism

The mascot for San Pasqual Academy is a “Dragon”. To me a dragon represents strength. Also it represents the ability to bounce back from obstacles and gain respect. A dragon represent that we are fearless, and that we will put up a fight not only through sports but also through life. That is why being a San Pasqual Academy “Dragon” is the best thing in the world, because when you’re a “Dragon” you are resilient and nothing can hurt you but you’re self. That’s why I don’t understand why people don’t take the fact that they are “Dragons” and change the way they are. “Dragons” are not scared of anyone or anything. I feel that we has foster youth should take that and put it into our life. What I mean by that is we shouldn’t give up because we are going through obstacles; we need the mentality of a dragon through out life.

House Symbol

The Lions symbolizes our house which is Girls 102. To most people, this item is just a picture of lions. To us, it represents family and order because in our house Bob and Debbie would be considered the Lion and Lioness also known as the leaders of the pack. We stick together just like in the wild we hunt together and protect one another from others. They guide us to make the right decisions just like the lion and lioness will have to do also Bob and Debbie will go to any extent to protect the girls in their house, just like the lion and lioness will for their cubs in the wild. Our house is the brightest, strongest, pack in the wild also known as San Pasqual Academy
